Nestled in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, Antur Brew Co set out to craft more than just exceptional beer – it aimed to capture the spirit of adventure in every pour. Founder, brewer and visionary Lance approached me to create a brand that would proudly stand alongside his premium beers while forging a deep connection to the rugged Welsh landscape. The challenge was clear: craft an identity that exuded quality, reflected the brewery’s love for modern brewing styles, and visually set Antur apart in an increasingly crowded craft beer market.

The branding for Antur Brew Co is rooted in the exploration and craftsmanship that define both the brewery and its surroundings. At its core, the brand identity reflects Antur’s namesake – adventure. Every label design prominently features the contours of real Welsh mountains, a tribute to the landscapes that inspire the brewery’s creations. Rendered in metallic gold, these contours bring a premium touch while reinforcing the brand’s connection to place. The logo itself combines the familiar arrow icon from maps, a universal symbol of navigation, with a stylised hop, representing the heart of the brewing process. This emblem subtly reinforces the brewery’s philosophy: forging bold new paths while staying true to its craft. Beyond the logo, the custom typography enhances the premium feel of the brand, while the deep, rich colour palette – dark green, navy blue, golden yellow and rich red – ensures each beer stands out on shelves and at food markets.

Since launch, the Antur Brew Co identity has become a talking point. The striking designs have made a lasting impression on craft beer enthusiasts, hikers and locals alike, earning praise not just for the beer itself, but for the brand’s distinctive presence. More than just a label, the identity has positioned Antur Brew Co as a leader in quality brewing, an invitation to drink in the adventure.
